Telling our stories and finding opportunities to talk is important, especially in our current reality. Dick Hom, a member of Chinese Congregational Church of San Francisco, sat down with Vincent Wu, also a member of the church and son of Rev. Paul Wu, Pastor of CCCSF in the 1960s. Vincent marched with Mr. John Lewis, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King and countless others in 1965, from Selma to Montgomery, to bring attention to voter’s rights for African Americans. This conversation highlights the sacredness and importance’s of telling our stories and resonates deeply with the hope of this weekly column, “Let’s Talk.”
