Hey NCNC Young Adults!
Are you looking for a summer experience that is meaningful, global, and faith-filled? Join I Love Taiwan Mission 2026, a two-week international mission and cultural exchange program in Taiwan, taking place July 2–16, 2026.
Taiwan is known for its rich history, cultural diversity, warm hospitality, and vibrant democratic society. This opportunity grows out of a real and longstanding relationship: the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan (PCT) are official global partners, and NCNC has shared friendship and ministry with the Tainan Presbytery for more than 30 years. This is more than a trip. It is a chance to step into a living partnership rooted in faith, justice, and mutual learning.
During this experience, you will have the opportunity to:
– Taste authentic Taiwanese food, experience the warm, heartfelt hospitality of Taiwanese people, and enjoy the super convenient and safe island lifestyle
– Dive into Taiwan’s vibrant, energetic tropical summer, feel the heat, the sunshine, and the lively island vibes (yes, it gets hot, but that sunny energy and warm atmosphere make it unforgettable!)
– Step into local churches and communities, serve alongside them, meet Taiwanese young adults, and experience real everyday life there
– Make friends with young people from all over the world, chat, share stories, and build international friendships
– Reflect on your own faith in a new cultural setting, see how Taiwan tackles social issues, and bring back powerful insights and inspiration to share with NCNC.
Costs and support:
Meals, lodging, and local transportation during the program in Taiwan (July 2–16) will be covered by the host churches. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip airfare and personal travel insurance. NCNC expects to be able to coordinate scholarship support for airfare for one or two participants. Please contact Rev. Lauren for more information about availability of assistance.
