This album was made possible through the vision, commitment, and powerful artistry of the musicians, vocalists, and cultural organizers who believe in the power of song to deepen political consciousness, strengthen community, and help transform society. Their offering continues a lineage shaped by freedom songs, labor chants, protest anthems, and spirituals – carrying forward traditions that have sustained people through generations of organizing and liberation work.
