Annual Gathering 2026 will be in the fall, combining the Annual and Fall Gatherings.
Many people have asked over the years if we can return to Asilomar, where Annual Gathering was held for many years. We’ve done the research and now we’re asking for your input. It’s quite expensive to have a meeting at Asilomar; that’s the reason we left. We could have our 2026 Annual Meeting at Asilomar on Oct. 15-18, 2026. We’d begin with dinner on Thursday October 15 and end with lunch on Sunday October 18. Rooms would be available from 4 PM on Thursday to 11 AM on Sunday. We would not be able to allow partial registrations, commuters, drop-ins, or unregistered people to attend. The cost would be $1200 per person for a single room and $900 per person for a shared room; that price includes registration, housing for 3 nights, and 9 meals. We do not have information about prices for children staying in a room with their parents. If enough people are willing to commit to attending (by paying a nonrefundable deposit), then we will proceed with a contract. At this time, we are only asking for opinions.
