We are excited to welcome the Sankofa Faith Initiative to the NCNC, UCC Annual Gathering, October 22–24, 2026!
Sankofa believes children deserve spiritual experiences that honor their unique voices, needs, and cultural identities. Rather than viewing children as “not yet ready,” Sankofa equips faith communities to create sacred spaces where children are deeply rooted in faith, affirmed in their identity, embraced in love, and recognized as vital contributors to the life of the church.
This is what being Better Together looks like: honoring the wisdom of our past, nurturing the faith of our children today, and investing in the future of the Church for generations to come.
