Apply to be on staff at Camp Tamarack!
Camp Tamarack is in the high Sierras, east of Fresno. When the snow melts at over 7,000 feet, Camp Tam is revealed. Tent cabins, a lodge, fire bowl, worship area, grassy meadow, lakes close by, and propane lighting make for an amazing, rustic experience! Our Camp Cook is always guaranteed to cook up delicious meals for all to enjoy!
The weeks at camp vary, but they typically include:
- small-group discussions on a scripture-based theme for the week
- a Talent/No Talent Show for campers to show off their skills, skits, jokes, or none-of-the-above
- worship service each evening
- hiking in stunning forests
- swimming
- games and sports
- arts and crafts
- dance parties
Each week is an opportunity to praise and explore our Still Speaking God, nature & Creation, with friends both familiar and new.

Making Camp more affordable: Many churches offer “camperships”, a scholarship specifically to come join camp — ask your church! Some Associations have campership funds. The Conference also has a small campership fund. You may choose the scholarship price if needed.
