BIPOC Support Cohort

On 8/11/23, the Committee on Ministry, Section B, approved the BIPOC clergy Support Cohort as a substitute for the Racial Justice Training requirement. Below are the instructions for receiving the six-hour every three years and one hour yearly of RJT credit using the cohort. Registration is free, as this is a self-led group.
The BIPOC Clergy Support Cohort will meet on an ongoing basis monthly from 2 PM to 3 PM on the second Wednesday of each month. Contact the NCNC UCC office for more information. office@ncncucc.org
Lifelong Learning Policy for Racial Justice Training BIPOC Support Cohort
BIPOC clergy seeking to use the cohort must register to establish their intention to substitute the training with the support cohort.
Attend six (6) consecutive meetings of the support cohort. This will satisfy the three-year six- hour requirement.
Attend one cohort in year two and three after completing the six-hour requirement.
Must attend the entire hour with active participation with Zoom video on for the entire hour.
Email your attendance to the conference to have it recorded as Lifelong Learning.
Each cohort will have a time of discussion about race, racism, and racial justice.
