Level 1 Racial Justice Training 4/6/24

The Northern California Nevada Conference is offering online level 1 racial justice training. This training is for authorized ministers to meet their life-long learning requirement for racial justice/anti-racism training. The next six-hour course will be in one session of seven hours on Saturday April 6 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You must attend the full six hours of instruction time to receive the full six-hour credit and certificate of completion. There will be two 15 minute breaks and one half-hour lunch break.

The racial justice training is designed to move our churches and authorized ministers forward in their settings in the struggle for racial justice. The training provides new language and awareness as we grapple with America’s history of racism in our multiracial society. The training will bring understanding and knowledge of how we can move from tolerance and acceptance to solidarity. We will go more in-depth with one another in this work and forge relationships and a new commitment to a just culture in the NCNC UCC that will fan out far beyond our fellowship.
