In light of the continued California statewide Shelter in Place order, as well as Sonoma State University cancelling all campus reservations and activities in June, the Conference Council has called a Special Conference Meeting to be held online on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. This Special Conference Meeting is for the purposes of acting on revisions to the By-Laws and acting on the slate of leaders for 2020-2021. It will take the place of the Annual Meeting session of Annual Gathering previously scheduled for June 18-20, 2020.

Annual Gathering 2020 will be rescheduled for October 24, 2020, pending lifting of Shelter in Place orders. A plan to live out the theme and prepare to address the resolutions that have been submitted is being worked on. This plan will include details about our time together on October 24 as well as events before and after to invite us into deep conversations and a renewed commitment to anti-racism
All Authorized Ministers with Standing in the Northern California Nevada Conference, as well as all delegates of Local Churches with Standing in Associations of the Northern California Nevada Conference, are hereby notified of this Special Conference Meeting and encouraged to submit their registration at this time. Deadline to register is May 26.
